Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Teach how to use and build Apps
  • Use social media safely and for educational purposes
  • Understanding and using AI as a valid teaching aid not as a dangerous enemy
  • Create a video lesson (Teacher and AI Avatar)
Metodology and Assessment

All our courses include an active and participatory methodology. Each phase of the training is focused on achieving the objectives set and participants are constantly encouraged to carry out practical experiences to replicate in the classroom with their students. Our methodology is based above all on communication and practical learning. Throughout the process, digital tools that improve both the understanding and production of texts will provide valid help and support.
For each module, final group work is used which stimulates discussion and creates motivating learning experiences by putting each planned action into a situation.

Pricing

The cost of the course is 450 € and includes lessons, useful material for the course, coffee breaks and city visits. 
It does not include the Saturday excursion which must be booked at the time of registration
Cancellation can be made without penalty within fifteen days before the start of the session. In case of force majeure (see the cases foreseen by the Erasmus programme) cancellation is also possible on the start day of the course

Flexible dates for groups are available upon request

At your request, the courses can be structured for a different schedule (5 or 7 training days).

    • Reception and presentation of the course
    • Brainstorming: Which social networks do you know and use regularly? Which ones do you use in class?
    • Coffee Break ☕
    • Presentation of the participants and their schools

  • Using Social Media in the Classroom Day 2

    • Instagram: How to use it in the classroom – practical examples
    • TikTok: Creating educational videos
    • ThingLink: Creation of an interactive map
    • Coffee Break ☕
    • Building a city tour with social media: Using the presented structures
    • Visit to Piazza Grande and Modena Cathedral

  • Digital Collaboration and Networking Day 3

    • Creation of an interactive map of Modena with ThingLink
    • Meeting with the managers of the Erasmus projects of the Modena schools: Search for partners for future collaborations
    • Coffee Break ☕
    • Simulation of an Erasmus partner search with the help of social media
    • 3:00pm - 5:00pm: Visit of Piazza Roma, Via Farini, Via Emilia, Piazza Mazzini, and the Palace of Museums

  • Observing IT Education in Italy Day 4

    • Visit to a school in Modena
    • Job shadowing: Assisting in IT teaching in Italian schools
    • Presentation of the Erasmus projects of the host school

  • Artificial Intelligence in Education Day 5

    • Artificial intelligence: Risks and benefits in the classroom
    • Examples of teaching with the use of artificial intelligence
    • Group Work: Creation of an educational module with artificial intelligence
    • Closing Session: Reflection on experiences and creation of a presentation for course dissemination
