This course is aimed at teachers of Italian as a second language who want to include art, culture and gastronomy modules in their professional career in order to enrich the Italian program in their classes.
Lessons are held in Italian in classrooms and on the territory of Modena.
This course immerses teachers in Ascoli’s medieval and Renaissance heritage, aligning with Target 11.4 of the 2030 Agenda. Through direct experience with monuments and artworks, participants will develop a hands-on methodology, creating reports, maps, and teaching tools to integrate heritage education into their classrooms.

This course takes participants to key historical sites, including Campo di Fossoli near Carpi, originally built in 1942 and later transformed into a Jewish concentration camp in 1943. The Monumento al Deportato Museum, inaugurated in 1973, stands as a powerful testament to history through the work of artists who lived it.
Educational workshops are organized in collaboration with the Fossoli Foundation and the Historical Museum of Modena, providing an immersive learning experience.
This English-language course for language and literature teachers explores UNESCO intangible heritage and its role in preserving cultural identity. Participants will compare traditions, visit the Museum of Popular Traditions, and develop teaching materials. The course also examines heritage education and the inclusion of marginalized cultures.
